Goochland Day Foundation is following all governance and legislation mandated by the State of Virginia and the federal authority of the United States. At this writing, masks are strongly recommended, and a VDH tent will be offering all 3 vaccinations to those who are eligible to receive it. Wash your hands frequently and use the hand sanitizer found throughout the event locations at vendor booths, around the entertainment, and food.

Saturday, September 25, 2021, Parade at 9:30 and Festival 11am-4pm

1800 Sandy Hook Road through NAPA Field. This is also known as the Goochland County Administration Building and fields for the Sports Complex and NAPA Field.  

No! We are a pay-as-you-go festival and most kid entertainment is kept free by our gracious sponsors and community philanthropists.

Primary parking is at Goochland High/Middle School Complex. You must wear a mask to ride the bus to/from the drop off area at the Sports Complex.

Other parking may be found at the following:
• Goochland Elementary School (primarily vendor parking)
• Farmers Market
• Fairgrounds Lot
• County Administration Buildings (primarily handicap parking)

You may be able to park at:
• Pamunkey Library
• YMCA
• Reynolds Community College
• Along Earls Rd
*Towing is enforced at the Food Lion Parking Lot 

All Mask Mandates Apply. There is a suggested donation of $1.00 per ride which helps keep the festival free and offsets Festival and Parade expenses as the Foundation hires and rents the use of the buses and drivers.

A GCPS School Bus will be operational and stop at the following locations:
• Goochland High/Middle School Complex
• Fairgrounds Lot
• Earls Rd 

On Saturday morning, in preparation for the Goochland Day Parade, Route 6 through the Goochland Courthouse will close at 9:30am and all traffic into and out of town will be stopped or diverted until 11am.

Porta-potties are located throughout the Goochland Sports Complex for public use.

We politely ask that you leave your furry friends at home. With large crowd sizes expected, we find it’s best to keep foot traffic to humans. The Goochland Day Parade and Festival holds no liability for any incidents involving pets and County restrictions apply.

No, if you need either of these please bring your own. The Shed has some great options for rent: Chairs, Tents, Tables, Wheelchairs, etc. They will deliver them to your 10x10 space as requested for a minimum fee.

No, Golf cart use is reserved for Festival volunteers and first responders only

Yes, the skatepark will be open, and use at your own risk. Keep in mind that most of the festival space will be grass and all County restrictions apply.

No alcoholic beverages or coolers are permitted. We will have local cideries, breweries, and distilleries onsite for the 21 and older crowd to experience.
